CHC Helikopter Services are now looking to recruit for multiple roles as technicians and/or skilled workers at our base located in Bergen.
Engineer/skilled worker
Location: Bergen, NO
Permanent, full-time
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area
Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and/or non-certifying technicians under their supervision
Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority
Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned
Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area’s under their control
Work in compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting
May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility
Qualifications:
Essential
Skilled worker certificate avionics or aircraft mechanic
EASA Licensed B1 and / or B2 Engineer
Desirable
Applicants with type ratings for Sikorsky S92 (and AW189) will be preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language)
Good computer skills.
Experience of AMOS MRO software is an advantage
Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirement
