Open job position: Advanced Product Specialist - Product Developer at UBR

We are expanding our highly skilled product team and are looking for a talented individual to join us as Product Developer. We are seeking a specialist who are deeply passionate about creating high-quality, technical garments. The Role:

As Product Developer you will be responsible for the development process from idea/drawing, throughout proto phase, SMS and making sure the garments are ready for Bulk order. It requires strong coordination skills with the rest of product team and close follow up with manufacturing partners. You will be responsible for TP, Bom and MT and proto/sample handling. UBR has a strong focus on tailored fit, and a solid pattern understanding is key. As Product developer you will contribute actively to the creative process along with whole product team to ensure innovative seasonal newness. Cross functional collaboration and involvement with Marketing and Sales team is central to increase customer and market fit. Traveling to trade fairs, manufacturing partners in Europe and Asia will be part of the job.

The right candidate:

The person we are looking for is comfortable working in a small team, being proactive and take initiative to compliments the other roles in the product team. The candidate needs to be able to handle a broad range of tasks, be independent in work methods and comfortable taking on responsibility. Structured communication with manufacturer partners and organized documentation work are skillsets we are looking for. We seek genuine passion and dedication to go the extra rounds to make sure the result is beyond expectations.

Qualifications required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Product team as Product Developer, Pattern maker or Product specialist for a technical apparel brand.

• Bachelor’s degree in textiles, pattern making, design, or a related field.

• High competence of development premium and technical apparel production.

• A strong passion for product excellence and perfection.

• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
