Bus Mechanic Wanted – Based in Oslo, Travel to Other Cities

Hop On AS is looking for an Oslo-based Bus Mechanic to join our sightseeing and tourist operations. As a bus Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring that our fleet is safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate as a BUS mechanic (heavy vehicles)

• Experience with buses, trucks or other heavy vehicles

• Driving licence class B and class D

• Knowledge of diagnostics and troubleshooting

• Comfortable using digital tools for maintenance and reporting

• Valid work permit in Norway

• Good communication skills in English; Norwegian is an advantage

Arbeidsoppgaver

The position is primarily based at our workshop in Oslo. Some travel to our other locations in Norway (Bergen, Ålesund, Haugesund, Trondheim and Stavanger) must be expected, depending on operational needs.

• Perform service, maintenance and repairs on our buses

• Troubleshooting and technical follow-up of vehicles

• Prepare buses for daily operation

• Help minimise downtime and ensure high operational reliability

• Follow internal procedures as well as HSE and safety standards

• Work closely with operations and drivers
