HSEQ Director / HSEQ Manager

As Reach Subsea continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced HSEQ Director / HSEQ Manager to lead and further develop the HSEQ function across the organisation. The role is based in our Haugesund office, with flexibility for one of our other office locations in Norway or Sweden for the right candidate.

In this role, you will support safe and efficient operations globally, while driving continuous improvement, quality-focused processes, compliance and strong HSEQ leadership throughout the business. You will lead and develop the HSEQ team, oversee resource planning and recruitment within the department, and ensure our management systems continue to support operational excellence and company strategy. The role also includes close collaboration with management and operational teams across the organisation to strengthen HSEQ performance, communication and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Support management in strategic and operational HSEQ matters
• Lead, develop and support HSEQ personnel across the organisation
• Plan and monitor resources within the department
• Drive recruitment and growth within the HSEQ function
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, standards and client requirements
• Establish, maintain and improve management systems in line with relevant standards
• Drive communication and alignment of HSEQ priorities across the business
• Report and advise executive management on HSEQ-related risks, performance and improvement initiatives
• Promote a strong HSEQ culture across the organisation

Qualifications

• BSc degree or higher within QHSE, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
• Extensive practical experience may compensate for formal education

Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of experience within HSEQ systems and senior HSEQ roles
• Solid knowledge of relevant HSEQ standards, legislation and best practices
• Experience with quality assurance, auditing and HSE management systems
