Role Overview
We are seeking a Service Coordinator (m/f/d) to join our Field Service organization. In this role, you will manage and coordinate multiple service activities simultaneously, ensuring efficient execution from service request to completion.
You will act as the point of contact between customers, service engineers, vessel agents and internal stakeholders, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction. The role requires a proactive and structured individual who can handle a dynamic workload, identify opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on coordination role with strong exposure to both customer service and commercial aspects, including identifying upgrade opportunities and supporting sales through close customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of service orders, from order acceptance through execution to invoicing
Coordinate multiple service jobs simultaneously in a cost-efficient and structured manner
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners
Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues including; availability of service engineers, spare parts, tools, and travel arrangements
Monitor and report progress of service activities to customers and internal teams
Ensure completeness and accuracy of job documentation and service records
Support invoicing processes and ensure timely closure of service orders
Analyze service reports and proactively identify customer needs and potential upgrade opportunities
Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up
Contribute to continuous improvement of service processes, tools, and workflows
Key RequirementsExperience in a service coordination, customer service, or field service environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify customer needs and support sales opportunities
Technical or maritime background is an advantage, particularly within electrical or automation systems
Experience with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
Ability to obtain NATO and national security clearance in accordance with applicable regulations
Fluent in English; Norwegian is an advantage
