Transaction Management team in NBIM is looking for an Analyst!

Norges Bank Investment Management manages the Government Pension Fund Global and has assets worth more than 2 trillion USD. The fund is invested in international equity and fixed income markets and real estate. As manager of one of the world's largest funds, we have developed a highly skilled investment organisation with a global outlook. We are seeking a dedicated and results oriented Analyst to join the Transaction Management team in Oslo. You will perform a variety of middle office functions to support trading. The ideal candidate must have background from working with IT development, worked with financial products and understand the life cycle of a transaction.

The position is located in Oslo and will report to the Head of Transaction Management.

Here are some of your tasks:

• Driving development initiatives across different processes within Transaction Management

• Utilise AI as a productivity tool

• Managing and settling transactions in an automated fashion

• Supporting all asset classes and instrument types, including equities, fixed income, derivatives and real assets

• Interacting with our global custodian and other vendors to manage deliveries and relationships

• Participating in project work and business process enhancement initiatives
  
  

What you need

• Technical background through higher education and experience.

• Solve problems programmatically, and excellent skillset with Python or equivalent languages and tools.

• Recent experience with modern post trade processes, systems and vendors.

• Demonstrated use of AI and agentic flows to automate post-trade processes.

• Experience building agentic AI workflows and MCP’s connecting LLM’s to internal systems and data platforms.

• Ability to work under pressure during market hours.

• Understanding of financial instruments such as equity, fixed income and derivatives.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance or other numeric fields.
