Would you like to be part of building a new food and culture destination in Bergen?

We are looking for chefs and a kitchen manager for our Indian cuisine at Bergen Street Food.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for individuals who want to be part of building a new and exciting street food concept in Bergen from the ground up.

For chefs:

  • Proven experience in Indian cuisine is required

  • Experience from restaurants, hotels, or catering

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

  • Strong focus on quality and consistency

For kitchen manager:

  • Experience as sous chef, head chef, or kitchen manager

  • Strong leadership experience in professional kitchens

  • Ability to build structure, teams, and efficient operations

  • Strong focus on quality, cost control, and execution

  • Passion for food and guest experience

You are:

  • Positive, committed, and solution-oriented

  • A team player with strong work capacity

  • Comfortable working under pressure and high volume

  • Focused on quality and operational excellence

Responsibilities

As part of our Indian kitchen team, you will:

  • Prepare authentic Indian dishes at a high standard

  • Contribute to menu development and innovation

  • Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations

  • Maintain hygiene and HACCP standards

For kitchen manager: lead daily kitchen operations and team coordination

  • Train and develop kitchen staff

  • Manage ordering and stock control

  • Work closely with management and other kitchen concepts
