As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Work Preparation Engineer in Bergen.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Establish and develop 'job cards' for both prefabrication, installation and testing of piping, pipe support and inline equipment

• Establish estimates based on agreed norms for the above tasks

• Communication with other discipline personnel, prefab-coordinators and workshop operators

 
We think you should have:

• Relevant technical education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.

• Trade-certificate as welder, sheet metal worker, plumber or other relevant trade certificate

• Ability to work independently in a hectic environment

• Good knowledge in general computer technology

• Experience from piping design /construction is a benefit

• Proficiency in E3D and MIPS

• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
