Petrolink Support is looking for a skilled Subsea Controls Engineer for Operational Support, Technical Integrity & Maintenance activities.
Contract location: Bergen, Norway.
Tasks
Typical work tasks will be
• Deliver operational support and technical maintenance for subsea control systems across multiple assets.
• Act as the discipline contact for assigned assets, providing guidance and solutions to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including subsea structures, manifolds, valves, process, automation and asset contacts.
• Participate in integrity assessments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives for subsea equipment within subsea controls.
• Timely and high-quality operational support and maintenance tasks for subsea control systems.
• Technical recommendations and solutions for equipment reliability and integrity issues.
• Effective communication and coordination with asset organizations.
• Participation in root cause analysis, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (preferably subsea, automation, electrical, or instrumentation). Experience in subsea control systems and subsea umbilical.
• Experience within operations, technical integrity and maintenance tasks.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and communication abilities.
• Experience with operational support for subsea assets and familiarity with offshore industry standards.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Norwegian language skills are beneficial.
