Senior Project Completion Engineer - SAS and ICT

Responsibilities

The Commissioning System Responsible Instrument and/or SAS in project is responsible for the onshore planning, preparation of the offshore commissioning scope. And support offshore Commissioning team in activities related to commissioning and delivery to operation. The System Responsible will also assist in ensuring the Project Team deliver in accordance with Client and project mandate given by the Asset Management Team.

• Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
• Provide engineering input and provide input to systems connected to and controlled by designated systems.
• Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
• Participate as PRD in package teams, and in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
• Deliver input and update progress.
• Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures and handover dossiers.
• Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
• Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
• Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Aker BP's expectations.
• Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
• Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.

Required expertise

• Functional Safety training and experience in an advantage.
• Engineering experience is an advantage.
• Experience in use of PIMS, MIPS, and TIME is an advantage.
• BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience from NORSOK projects.
• System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding SAS logic and SCD knowledge is a major advantage.
• SAS dynamic simulator experience is a major advantage.
• Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
• Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
• Ability to engage and support commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.

Language: English and Norwegian

Location: Stavanger, with offshore work required

Work schedule: Full-time

Duration: Assignment from 13/04/2026 to 31/12/2027
