EGONis coming to Narvik -- and we are looking for a strong, operational Head Chef to lead the kitchen from day one.
In fall 2026, EGON Narvik will open its doors at Amfi Narvik Storsenter. This will be a brand-new restaurant in the heart of the shopping center, offering everything from premium steaks and flavorful pasta dishes to fresh seafood, burgers, and our popular pizza buffet. We aim to become the natural meeting place in Narvik -- whether guests are shopping, meeting friends, enjoying a family dinner, or grabbing take away on the go.
Now we are looking for the right kitchen leader to build the team, shape the culture, and ensure operational excellence from the very start.
About the Role
As Head Chef, you are the senior leader of the kitchen and fully responsible for its optimal operation. This is both a demanding and highly rewarding position that requires strong presence in the kitchen and hands-on leadership.
Your responsibilities include:

Full operational responsibility for daily kitchen operations

Ensuring high food quality and consistency

HACCP compliance and food safety standards

Cost control, margins, and financial performance

Staff planning and scheduling
-
Recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff
At EGON, you will work with fresh, high-quality ingredients from trusted Norwegian suppliers. Sauces and dressings are prepared in-house based on our own recipes at each kitchen. Head Chefs actively contribute to menu development and concept evolution.
Professional development is a key part of the role. EGON organizes national and regional leadership gatherings, as well as dedicated training sessions linked to new menu launches. These meetings focus on experience sharing, operational improvements, and further development of the concept. Social activities are also an important part of these gatherings, strengthening culture, teamwork, and shared values across the organization.
