What we can offer you

If we look beyond the fact that you would get to work with some of the greatest minds in our industry, extraordinary people from all over the world, here’s some of the things you can expect as a Package Fabrication Engineer in Ocean Installer:

• Provide technical input and specifications for specific packages at projects early/bidding stage
• Participate in technical evaluation of supplier quotations
• Perform and coordinate review and approval of supplier technical documentation
• Coordinate and communicate with other project disciplines (Installation, Engineering, HSEQ, Material)
• Liaise with clients
• Coordinate preparation, review and approval of non-conformance requests, deviations, technical queries and change requests
• Attend, organize and coordinate inspection during package fabrication, testing, commissioning and packing
• Occasional travel to fabrication sites as needed for project follow‑up and coordination
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing /System Integration Testing (FAT/SIT) at suppliers

Who we`re looking for

So, if you do possess some of these qualities, we could be a perfect match:

• Min. 5 years of relevant subsea fabrication package experneice (structural / subsea flexibles, umbilicals, rigid spools, GRP Cover, etc.)
• Relevant engineering degree, Master or Bachelor
• Thrives with juggling activities and interfaces
• Results oriented with the ability to act decisively
• Interest for fabrication activities (material, welding, NDT, coating, etc.)
• Familiar with the relevant fabrication codes (NORSOK, DNV)
