We are seeking skilled Electrical Senior Engineers for a long-term project assignment in Bergen.

Introduction:

We are seeking two experienced Electrical Senior Engineers for a long-term assignment with a leading company in the energy sector. The role is part of a major engineering and modification project and requires solid competence within electrical design, NCS experience, and strong collaboration skills. Physical presence at the Bergen office is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations

• Act as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE)

• Define and design heat trace requirements in accordance with P&IDs

• Prepare, check, and approve MTO

• Prepare, check, and approve technical requisitions

• Follow up vendors and suppliers

• Insert data into engineering registries

• Produce engineering work packages

• Interface with other disciplines

• Conduct site surveys as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Multidiscipline understanding

• Good communication skills

• Cooperative working attitude

• Systematic, accurate, and efficient approach

• Creative and solution‑oriented mindset

• Proactive attitude – seeks advice when needed and shares experience

• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and spoken (mandatory requirement)

• Basic EX course (6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom)

• FSE – High and Low Voltage, including first aid
  

Required Certificates:

• Experience from electrical engineering projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS)

• Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards, including:

  • NORSOK

  • ATEX

  • PTIL

  • IEC

  • TRs

  • STID

  • Procosys
    

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within a relevant engineering discipline (electrical)
