About the position:
Western Norway University of Applied Sciences has a researcher position within responsible innovation and regional development available for a period of 2 years. The position is affiliated with the Section for Innovation Studies at the HVL Business School, Faculty for Technology, Environmental and Social Sciences, Campus Bergen. The candidate will conduct her/his research within the Norwegian center for environment- friendly energy research (FME) on hydrogen value chain research Hyvalue. Key duties- and responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to contribute to research that assesses how hydrogen is coupled to and embedded in various sociotechnical systems and explores societal dilemmas in governing the deployment of hydrogen technologies.
Qualifications:
The qualification requirement is a PhD degree within innovation studies. Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis for evaluation are eligible to apply but cannot start in the position before they have been awarded a PhD degree. Affinity with engineering studies is desirable. We are looking for candidates that are interested in and experienced with eco-innovation and sustainability transitions. Competence in quantitative and qualitative research methods are expected. The candidate also needs to have good written and oral presentation skills in English.
The researcher position is a recruitment position, and the appointed candidates will be part of an active research milieu at the Section for Innovation Studies at the HVL Business School.

Applicants should note that the evaluation will be based on the documentation submitted electronically via Jobbnorge within the submission deadline. It is of utmost importance that all publications to be considered in the evaluation are uploaded as an attachment with the application, since these are sent electronically to the expert panel. Applicants with a degree from a country other than Norway, need to attach a certified translation of the diploma and transcripts of grades to English or a Scandinavian language, in addition to the original documents, if the original is not in any of these languages. The position as Senior Researchers is paid according to the Government's salary regulation, in position code 1109 - Forsker (Senior Researcher).
There is a compulsory 2 % deduction to the pension fund (see http://www.spk.no/en for more information). The successful applicant must comply with the guidelines that apply to the position at any time.
