Qualifications and Personal Qualities

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are hardworking and reliable

• Perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Have strong teamwork and communication skills

• Are service-oriented and positive

• Have previous experience in hospitality (preferred but not mandatory)

• Have advanced and fluent English skills (required)

• Additional language skills are an advantage

Working in Lofoten during the summer season is demanding but highly rewarding. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated hospitality professionals seeking international experience in a unique natural setting.

About the Position

As a waiter/waitress at Gammelbua, you will be part of a dynamic team serving a high volume of international guests during peak season. The summer months in Lofoten are busy and require efficiency, structure and a strong service mindset.

Main responsibilities include:

• Providing professional and attentive table service

• Taking orders and serving food and beverages

• Ensuring high standards of customer care

• Working closely with kitchen and bar staff

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
