We are looking for a Technical Safety/Senior Engineer

Job Description

• Perform detailed design and modification tasks on safety systems in projects
• Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
• Active Fire Protection (AFP)
• Area Classification and Ignition Source Control
• Fire and Gas Detection
• Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER)
• Safety Integrity Level (SIL)
• Definition of fluid groups (PED)
• Working Environment Engineering
• Environmental Care Engineering
• Interdisciplinary coordination, checks, IDC, and verifications
• Perform work tasks according to the company's and the client's governing documentation
• Provide concise input regarding cost and planning of safety-related project activities
• Identify and facilitate required risk and verification activities (e.g. HAZID, WEHRA and design reviews)
• Follow-up of client, vendors and third parties

Qualification Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Technical Safety or related disciplines
• Relevant work experience may compensate for formal education
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience within offshore design and modification work in Norway
• Knowledge of Ptil requirements, ISO and NORSOK standards
• High degree of self-learning capability
• Excellent Norwegian and English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communication abilities
