Product Manager NavBox
NAVTOR is focused on providing smart digital solutions to disruptively change how shipping companies assess and improve performance. Our mission is to enable shipping companies across the globe to reduce fuel consumption, minimize emissions and increase operational efficiency.
We are currently seeking a new Product Manager for NavBox .
We are seeking a Product Manager for the product team to oversee the development and delivery of our onboard HW solution NavBox. The NavBox is a key element in the NAVTOR ecosystem offering and will in the future be expanded with several new functionalities and features.
Responsibility:
Managing the NavBox product line lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. This includes both HW and SW.
Managing future NAVTOR setup with external delivered Gateway (Moxa) and NavBox as an application server.
Involve Management for planning and decision of new releases: Content, priorities, milestones, deadlines.
Implement, lead and control Project and Development plans.
Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities.
Support sales, customer success, and service teams as a subject matter expert.
Monitor and follow up on Development to make sure deadlines are held.
Make sure testing is properly performed before release.
Make sure needed user manuals and product sheets are in place before release.
Represent the product in customer meetings, industry forums, and roadmap presentations.
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent level of technical education
Experience with structuring development roadmaps and product backlog
Well-versed in software development processes and managing complex data systems
Knowledge of integrated bridge solution standards, especially IEC 61162-450/460, UR E26/27 and participation in type approval of such equipment if needed.
Personal Qualities:
Strong verbal and written English communication skills, well-organized, and meticulous attention to detail are a must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of the product team.
Excellent teamwork skills
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
