Petrolink is looking for an experienced HVAC Field Engineer to assist with development and installation for the full electrification of Hammerfest LNG.
Commuters are accepted.
Contract location: Hammerfest, Norway
Tasks
Typical work tasks will be
• Follow-up on HVAC equipment delivered to the manufacturing location.
• Follow up with contractor(s) to ensure that deliveries align with the scope of work, budget, and schedule.
• Provide contractor(s) with input, clarifications, and maintain contact as needed.
• Follow-up on preparations for and execution of:
• Installation and removal of temporary HVAC systems.
• Installation of permanent new HVAC systems.
• Modification of existing HVAC systems.
• Support and follow up with the contractor regarding construction issues.
• Ensure necessary dialogue with interface disciplines and contribute to problem-solving.
• Participate in the development of commissioning procedures for HVAC systems.
• Testing and commissioning of temporary, new, and modified HVAC systems.
• Check installed equipment, follow up on punch lists, and system handover to Commissioning and operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for the right candidate with the following qualifications:
• BSc or MSc in HVAC or process technology.
• Extensive experience in the HVAC field in oil and gas projects can compensate lack of formal education
• Experience from similar positions.
• High focus on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
• Experienced in using ProCoSys, Fusion, STID, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
• EITA - Discipline Professional Requirements, multidisciplinary understanding.
