We are now looking for a Front of House Host to join our team and become the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring every guest feels personally cared for from before arrival to departure.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience from reception, front office, guest relations or similar service roles is preferred.
• Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Experience with hotel systems and reservations is an advantage.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Front of House Host, you are the first and last impression of Eilert Smith Hotel. You will be responsible for delivering a warm, seamless and highly personalized guest journey, ensuring that every stay reflects our standards of comfort, elegance and genuine hospitality.
This is a hands-on and guest-facing role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with all hotel departments and our partners to create a smooth and memorable experience for every guest.
The Front of House Host reports to the Hotel Manager and works closely with the entire hotel team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine care from arrival to departure.
• Handle check-in, check-out and reservations with precision and attention to detail.
• Provide personalized recommendations, concierge services and local insights.
• Coordinate guest requests and ensure smooth communication between departments.
• Maintain the highest standards of presentation and guest service in all interactions.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively create memorable experiences.
• Support daily front office operations and ensure a calm, efficient and welcoming reception environment.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve situations with professionalism and empathy.
