About the opportunity

We currently have a vacancy for the position of Plant Operator at our Bergen plant at CCB in Ågotnes. As a Plant Operator you will have a critical role in ensuring that our reclamation process is optimised to ensure preservation of our product. You will learn how to safely mix/blend our product according to internal/ external customer requirements and quality control procedures and standards. You will also learn how to test all products prior to shipment to ensure our products meet the required specifications as well as how to ship the product to customers on time according to schedule.

What qualities are required?

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and driven with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as strong computer skills. Please note that as our business language is English, you will be required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse / plant experience including general operations. A technical background in fabrication and prior knowledge of drilling/completions fluids would also be beneficial.

As there will be the requirement to work shifts, the successful candidate must be able to travel to our site in Ågotnes.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be educated to secondary school level and have a willingness to work towards relevant qualifications as required. A Forklift License would also be desirable. A technical background in fabrication, mechanics, pumps and/or prior knowledge of drilling/completions fluids would also be beneficial.
