As Corporate Manager Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for the operation and development of the consolidation system HFM and you will become a go-to person within the technical reporting field for KONGSBERG and overlook the financial consolidation of our divisions. You will get the chance to grow professionally and be involved in a variety of complex and interesting challenges within reporting and accounting. You will be part of a large financial environment and work closely with Performance management and reporting, Finance, Treasury and IR, Corporate Tax, and finance functions in the divisions. In addition, Corporate Accounting assists the M&A teams on business transactions.
The Corporate Accounting team provides crucial technical accounting and reporting expertise on the area for the whole group. The team consists of competent colleagues with deep professional knowledge, who foster professional discussions and knowledge sharing. You will join a team dedicated to adapting to changes within the field, learning and continuously improve the reporting and controlling process. We have the main responsibility for the groups consolidation system, quarterly and annual financial statements and implementation and compliance of accounting standards. In addition, Corporate Accounting contributes to the group target process, business controlling and the monthly financial reporting to the Corporate Management Team and Board of Directors.
Your main responsibilities:
- Management and development of the consolidation system
- Contribute to the analysis and control of the reported figures
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Technical consolidation of actual, forecast and target figures
- Advisor for the Group on the reporting in the consolidation system
- Be an important contributor to the quarterly and annually financial statements
- Transaction Services: Support the organization on M&A activities, including due diligence, contract negotiations, settlement and integration
- Advisory: Contribute to identify opportunities to improve the groups accounting function, including use of systems and technology
Qualifications and experience:
- Higher education degree within either Accounting & Auditing or Finance
- 3-5 years experience acquired from an audit/ advisory firm and/or in-house group accounting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial consolidation, including handson experience with consolidation processes and system applications such as HFM, Cognos, and similar platforms
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with solid skills in data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet automation
- Demonstrated ability to understand business operations and financial drivers, enabling effective support, insight, and decision-making contributions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and communicate clearly in both Norwegian and English

The team is based in Kongsberg, but there are opportunities to have office space at Aker Brygge and commute to Kongsberg a few days a week.
