We are searching a Superintendent to our HSEQ team

CoolCo is experiencing increased activity and is now recruiting a HSEQ Superintendent. The position is based in Oslo.

Typical responsibilities and work tasks:

• Support and assist in company HSEQ activities

• Contribute to the development, maintenance and simplification of the Safety Management System

• Assist in ensuring compliance with mandatory rules and regulations

• Participate in internal audits, primarily of the shore organisation

• Follow up on the quality of reports submitted by vessels and the shore organisation

• Assist with HSEQ training for relevant staff ashore and onboard

• Support the implementation and follow-up of compliance campaigns

• Assist in the preparation, execution and follow-up of annual DOC and ISO audits

• Support tanker management self-assessment (TMSA) processes and audits

• Ensure documents within your area of responsibility are reviewed and updated

• Assist in monitoring and follow-up of KPIs

• Participate in incident investigations as required

• Perform other tasks normally falling under the HSEQ department

Qualifications:

• Relevant higher education, or equivalent maritime background

• Seagoing experience as deck or engine officer is preferred

• Basic knowledge of management systems and auditing principles

• Familiarity with safety management systems

• Knowledge of ISM, ISPS and MLC requirements

• Exposure to ISO certification processes is an advantage

• Exposure to OCIMF’s TMSA framework is an advantage

• Understanding of risk assessment principles

• Good English communication skills and sound organisational abilities
