Trolltunga Active is seeking a dedicated and creative Shop Responsible to manage our Activity stores in Skjeggedal and Odda. A job ensuring a high quality of customer service while driving sales and maintaining operational efficiency.

Are you passionate about nature and outdoor adventures? Do you have a background in sales, combined with experience of product developing and marketing? Would you excel in a role that involves promoting and selling of hiking gear, rental, sale of souvenirs, and partly kiosk goods. Together with sale and promoting of a variety of activities such as hikes to Trolltunga, overnight tours in Arctic Domes, via ferrata, ziplining, kayaking, e-bike tours, snowshoe tours, and more?

Qualifications:

• Education: A degree or certification in business, sales, or a related field.

• Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably in the outdoor or adventure industry.

• People Skills: You enjoy engaging with customers and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in Norwegian and English.

• Outdoor Enthusiasm: A passion for the outdoors and the ability to convey that enthusiasm to potential customers.

• Responsibility & Leadership: A responsible and sociable individual who can lead a team and enjoy challenges.

• Driving License: A valid driving license is required.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of sales associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and providing product knowledge.

• Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing.

• Product Management & Development: Collaborate with team members to select products for sale and participate in the development of new products for sale.

• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices in customer service.

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and team performance for management review.
