We are looking for x7 Automation - Senior / Principal Engineer

Job Description

• Produce new documentation and drawings such as Cause & Effect, System Control Diagrams (SCD), loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations
• Revise existing documentation and drawings
• Produce work packages for installation
• Produce deliverables for studies and Front End Loading (FEL) work
• Produce documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS)
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project
• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation and be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines
• Participate in discussions with client and vendor representatives to find optimal technical solutions

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation
• Good experience with SAS systems in modification projects
• Experience with Kongsberg SAS systems is preferred
• 7-12 years of experience within offshore related projects
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC 61892 and Norsok
• Knowledge of modifications on offshore installations while in operation
• Experience from Studies and Front End Loading (FEL) work
• Experience with several process & utility systems including Platform Control Systems, Fire & Gas and safety systems
• Knowledge of instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil industry
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical solutions in safety systems
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Good communication skills, written and oral
• Systematic and accurate work style
• High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• EX - Basic EX course (6-8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom)
• FSE - High and low voltage with first aid
• Possibility for Offshore certificate and health certificate if required
