We are looking for SFO (after-school club) assistants who can contribute to the development of SFO at BISS Gausel. The positions are part-time - one 40% and one 0%, and temporary.
SFO opening hours are:
Mornings during term-time - 07:15 to 08:45 Monday to Friday (7,5 hours)
Afternoons during term-time -14:45 to 16:45 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (8 hours), and 13:45 to 16:45 on Wednesdays (2,45 hours)
Holiday SFO - eight hours between 07:30 and 16:30, five days a week for 6 weeks (8 hors per day) during the school holiday periods in February, June, August, and October.
SFO is closed in the school holidays at Easter, Christmas and for the month of July.
The 40% position is afternoons and school holidays only.
The 0% (supply) position can be called to work during any of the sessions above.
The positions are available from March 2026 until July 2026.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Implementing SFO activities as directed by the SFO leader
- Contributing to the planning of the before and after school SFO activity programme
- Working alongside SFO team members during the school term and some school holidays
- Communicating effectively with the children, the school administration and parents
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant experience in an educational setting
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Able to create good relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Good spoken English
- Experience working in an international environment would be an advantage
- Experience with organising and running activities for children
- An ability to take initiative and contribute to the development of SFO
