We are currently seeking an experienced head waiter who is passionate about delivering a memorable dining experience. In this key role, you will lead a small team and ensure that every guest enjoys impeccable service in our cozy restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee dining operations and ensure high standards of service.

• Educate and mentor fellow waitstaff on restaurant etiquette and best practices.

• Prepare the restaurant for daily service, including polishing glasses and cutlery, setting tables, and maintaining cleanliness.

• Manage wine inventory and provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.

• Collaborate with chefs to create an inviting dining atmosphere while serving local ingredients in both lunch and a-la-carte dinner menus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a waiter or head waiter in a (fine) dining environment.

• Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and excellent customer service skills.

• Knowledgeable about wines with the ability to sell wine effectively.

• Leadership abilities with experience in training or guiding other staff members.

• A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

• Fluent English is a must and a Scandinavian language a big plus.

• Applicant must be available for the entire season.
