Home Hotel is a brand-new concept with one simple but powerful vision: to create a place that feels like home, even when you´re away. We go beyond offering just a bed for the night - we want to create an experience that lingers long after our guests leave. A place so warm, welcoming, and comfortable that guests feel like they´ve settled into their own living room. Now we´re looking for an Executive Chef at Home Hotel Grimstad, in Grimstad who wants to be part of our family.

Home Hotel Grimstad is centrally located in the heart of Grimstad, providing the perfect starting point to explore the local surroundings. We serve breakfast, afternoon fika and dinner every day as part of an overnight stay. There are also conference facilities for upto 160 persons in totalt. Conference lunches and dinners on request. 

What you´ll be doing:

• Overall responsibility for all kitchen operations, including staff management, menu planning, financial control, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations - all within the framework of our established and unique concept, but with plenty of room for personal creativity and impact.
• Develop and follow up on routines for quality, hygiene, and safety, ensuring the team has everything they need to deliver food of the highest standard.
• Ensure strong collaboration between the kitchen, the restaurant team, and other departments through close communication and active participation in internal meetings.
• Lead and train kitchen staff, while fostering a positive and productive work environment in line with the hotel´s goals and culture.

This is a permanent position 100 % with a start date to be agreed upon. The position requires working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
