Your Role in Shaping the Future

ViaONE is looking for an analytical, hands‑on, and relationship‑driven Financial Operations Manager to strengthen our industrial value chain. We are seeking someone with solid industrial economics expertise who thrives in an operational setting, and who combines deep system understanding (MES/ERP) with strong ownership of financial performance and reporting.

Your Role

As Financial Manager – Operations, you will be the key link between production and broader financial organization. You will take full ownership of operational financial performance, ensuring data accuracy, transparency and alignment with Vianode financial standards.

You will work closely with production leaders, provide clear financial guidance and challenge both operational and financial processes to drive improvements across the value chain.  In addition, you will play a central role within the finance team by contributing to financial reporting, supporting consolidation activities, and ensuring that operational insights are reflected in the overall financial picture. Our corporate language is English, but on a day-to-day basis it is Norwegian at ViaONE.

What You’ll Be Driving

Key Responsibilities incl.:

• Own the financial numbers for the production organization, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment

• Be present on the shop floor to understand operational drivers, deviations, and improvement levers. Provide structured and actionable decision support to production managers

• Establish and analyze production data, cost structures, and calculations to identify improvement opportunities

• Operational financial follow-up including variance analysis, production economics, and cost performance

• Develop and optimize MES and ERP utilization to strengthen data integrity and reporting quality. Ensure operational data is fully integrated into the centralized financial reporting cycle

• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, controlling activities and month-end close processes

• Collaborate with the wider finance team to standardize processes, improve controls, and enhance financial insight

• Participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives across the value chain

Your Toolkit for Impact

Qualifications

• Degree in industrial economics, finance, accounting, or similar

• Experience from industrial/production environments, ideally in operational finance or production controlling

• Strong system understanding, especially with MES and ERP

• Excellent analytical abilities, with a track record of turning data into concrete actions

• Experience working  with production teams is an advantage

• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, or controlling is a strong plus
