We’re looking for an IT Manager

Citycon is seeking an IT Manager to join our Nordic IT & BPI team. In this role, you will manage and develop IT environment and high-quality IT services, ensuring good local IT operations in collaboration with the service area responsible persons. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence IT operations in Norway in a dynamic, international environment and contribute key processes that support local level IT practices.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Ensure smooth local IT operations

·         Manage and develop the IT environment, ensuring high‑quality and secure IT services

·         Safeguard information security, company assets and control structures, and guide end users on best practices

·         Identify and drive local infrastructure and technology improvements that support business needs

·         Coordinate and lead local IT projects, upgrades and lifecycle management of services and devices

·         Manage vendors and service providers to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective delivery

·         Oversee IT budgeting, documentation, audits and risk management activities

·         Provide end‑user support, training and communication, including on/offboarding processes

Qualifications and Skills:

·         Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or other relevant education

·         Minimum 5 years of IT experience, preferably working with Windows platforms

·         Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, endpoints, Microsoft 365, and cloud-based services

·         Project management skills and experience leading small to medium implementation projects are considered an advantage

·         Proactive and solution‑oriented approach combined with strong teamwork skills

·         Fluent in Norwegian and English
