Our green fuel group are searching for a talented and positive mechanical engineer. You will work with different types of fuel supply systems in close cooperation with the other team members, often multi-disciplinary, and often with other departments in Kongsberg Maritime.

What you will be doing

• Develop systems for marine fuel and energy solutions for the future.
• Participate in communication with sales, our customers and follow up suppliers.
• Participate in commissioning when required by projects.
• Structure product and project documentation.
• Contribute to establishing the fuel cell lab.
• Be an active part in developing our designs and coordinate with other disciplines.

We think you should have

• Masters or Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant field.
• Experience and interest in 3-d modelling either from work or study.
• Relevant work experience from systems engineering, system testing or manufacturing is favourable.
• Experience and practical understanding will be preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• A pro-active and collaborative mindset and good communication skills.
• Good English written and oral skills are required, and Norwegian oral skill is an advantage.
• You are able and willing to travel some.
