As Head of Group Accounting, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for all accounting across all entities within the Group. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, robust internal controls, and strong audit readiness, while actively driving improvements and efficiency across core financial processes.
This position is based at Sensio's offices in Oslo and reports directly to the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Hold full accountability for both the statutory accounts and the consolidated accounts for all countries within the group, including leadership of internal resources and coordination with external service providers
- Drive continuous improvement of financial processes towards a more integrated accounting function (shared service model), with a hands-on focus on streamlining core processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procurement-to-Pay, and record to reporting
- Plan and execute periodic and year-end financial close and reporting for the entire Group
- Business ownership of ERP
- Oversee Group Accounting matters including consolidation, tax, and transfer pricing
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework, including documentation, risk assessment, and control monitoring, to mitigate financial and operational risks
- Ensure strong audit readiness and maintain a close working relationship with external auditors
Assist the CFO with ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in accounting, financial control or audit, preferably in a tech or fast-paced growth environment
- Strong understanding of accounting standards
- Hands-on experience in improving financial processes, particularly within Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Reporting
- Well experienced in ERP- and consolidation-systems
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
