Backend Software Developer

About the role
As a Software Developer at Norrøna you work on our web server and internal applications and services. Our software is mostly written in .net and vue.js, and is running on Kubernetes in Google Cloud Platform. We use Terraform for automating the platform with a DevOps setup that allows quick onboarding of new applications, so the developers can focus on development rather than infrastructure and complicated deployment processes.

Our team manages our internally built applications with a number of integrations and services. This includes b2b solutions, warehouse integration, POS integrations, ERP integrations, payments, repairs, image processing, ecommerce and product masterdata. We are currently building a new web platform from scratch based on Redis, .Net and nuxt.js as well as tooling to manage the entire product lifecycle management of our internally developed clothing line. You will be an essential part of expanding our team and contribute with both maintaining our current stack and help building new ones.

On the way you will learn a lot on how our whole company works, and play an important role in the success of all departments. We are constantly trying to improve how we work, trying new work processes or tools - so you will join a fast-paced working environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor or master’s degree
• Demonstrated knowledge of C# and .net
• Experience with building modern REST API's
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development practice and principals (SOLID, CQRS)
• Whether you have 10 years of experience or just a few, we value a can-do attitude and the ability to deliver results
• Fluent English is a requirement
