Do you want to build the financial foundation for one of the world’s leading concert promoters in Norway?
AEG Presents is a global leader in concert and festival promotion. In 2025, the company established its Norwegian headquarters in Oslo. We produce events across all formats—from intimate club shows to major outdoor stadium concerts—and manage several prominent concepts and projects, including the Piknik i Parken festival.
We are now seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager who will play a vital role in building, owning, and evolving the finance function in Norway. This is a role for someone who thrives with end‑to‑end responsibility: from day‑to‑day operations and project‑level accounting to overarching structure, reporting, and strategic support for senior management.
About the Role
You will work closely with an experienced team of industry experts and be an integral part of the financial backbone behind concerts and events of all scales. The work environment is periodically fast‑paced and dynamic, requiring someone who enjoys high activity levels, parallel processes, and short decision‑making lines.
At the same time, you will operate within the framework of an international organization with rigorous expectations for structure, reporting, and compliance. You will ensure that project managers and promoters have the financial insight they need—delivering precise figures, robust internal controls, consistent reporting, and clear, actionable decision support.
The role requires a strong understanding of processes—not only technically, but also in your ability to see connections between individual projects, daily operations, regulatory frameworks, and the Group’s requirements for governance. You take pride in developing seamless routines and structures that work locally while aligning with global systems, thereby contributing to the continuing professionalization of a rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Financial Management
Full operational ownership of all financial processes for the Norwegian entity—from day-to-day accounting and AP/AR to month‑end and year-end closing activities.
Systems and Structure
Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP and reporting tools (JDE/OneStream), ensuring efficient, transparent, and auditable workflows.
Local–Global Liaison
Ensure compliance with Norwegian legislation (VAT, tax, NGAAP) while meeting Group requirements for internal control, governance, and structured reporting.
Strategic Support
Act as a proactive partner in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis—providing insight that supports decision‑making at both project and corporate levels.
Future Capacity Planning
As our first dedicated finance resource in Norway, you will assess future staffing and competency needs as the organization continues to grow.
Who You Are
This role suits someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with curiosity and commercial understanding. You appreciate precision and detail, yet always keep the broader operational and strategic picture in mind.
Higher education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
3–6 years of relevant experience (e.g., Finance Manager, Business Controller, or external audit).
Strong systems and process understanding; advanced Excel skills.
A self-driven and hands‑on contributor who enjoys understanding the core business.
Strong communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
A decisive, engaged professional who thrives in an environment characterized by growth and increasing professionalization.
What We Offer
A unique opportunity to shape your own role and build the financial foundation for one of the world’s largest entertainment providers in Norway.
Significant influence and wide responsibility—combining project insight, operational involvement, and strategic work.
An international and highly professional environment within an industry defined by creativity and high execution capability.
A centrally located office in Oslo, close to the heart of the city’s vibrant concert and cultural scene.
A workplace recognized as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
