Project Control Manager/Commercial Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and commercially strong Project Control Manager/Commercial Specialist to strengthen our Commercial department in Stavanger. As a Project Control Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring successful project execution through strong financial, commercial and contractual control.

About the position

In this role, you will play a key role in the project management group, ensuring that we are delivering according to our business ambitions. Are you an ambitious senior manager with a strong commecial mindset? If yes, this can be the right position for you.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Manage the overall financial project portfolio according to Contract, authority regulations and Aibel work processes

• Provide project management with commercial and contractual project analysis to ensure correct management decisions

• Ensure optimal commercial utilization of Contract and resolve contractual issues

• Contract Awareness. Communicate with all parties involved in the contract to ensure that all understand the terms, particularly the Contract's financial aspect

• Assess risks and make recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation

• Provide team with a clear sense of direction, inspire and co-ordinate people

• Change Management

• Financial reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, secure result

Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Science or equivalent (master level). Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Manager/Project Control Manager/Contract Manager from the energy/oil and gas industry or other relevant/similar experience

Personal qualities

• Ability to establish and develop good client and/or supplier relationship and behave in a professional way

• Ability to build good working relations, internally and across other departments and disciplines

• Strong contractual skills

• Strong communication skills

• Has a good understanding of the business

• Ability to take strategic decisions and final conclusions
