Project Planner

Are you a skilled and team-focused Project Planner with passion for the marine business and complex projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our planning and control department.

As our Project Planner, you will be responsible for project planning within our growing Offshore and Special Purpose Portfolio. You will take charge of planning and monitor progress throughout the project lifecyclefrom sales to closing of the projects. Your expertise will be essential to ensure projects are delivered within defined milestones and that need for mitigation are identified at an early stage. You will support and drive improvement in way of working.

In this role you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, requiring excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will also have opportunities for personal and professional growth by expanding your knowledge and expertise within Propulsion and Handling.

The position is in our Handling business area which owns, develops and delivers world class handling solutions, with focus on system solutions and integration driving increased efficiency in our customers' operations. The business area is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg Maritimes winches and handling solutions.

Key accountabilities

• Establish and maintain updated project plans in collaboration with the project team, ensuring the plans align with the projects main milestones.
• Monitor resource and hours spending in projects and analyze engineering load and capacity.
• Hold regular meetings with other disciplines and project resources to control project status, identify deviations from the plan, and be proactive in highlighting delays and challenges.
• Work with sales and project teams to verify lead times, resource capacity and pre plans for potential new projects.
• Analyze and seek continuous improvement to improve efficiency in working methods and processes in planning and projects.

Qualifications and experience

• Experience in Project Planning
• Primavera P6 experience preferred
• Strong proficiency with MS Office tools, particularly Excel
• Higher education in logistics/technical disciplines. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English
