The Powerplant Department, within the Norwegian Technical Organization is looking for a Powerplant Engineer.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with the ability to work within an intense, high-paced work environment. We offer exciting, challenging, and educational work in a pleasant environment.
Subject Position is located at Fornebu or at Oslo Gardermoen airport, Norway.
Working hours are Mon-Fri 0800-1600 (flexible hours).

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Control and oversight of continuing airworthiness activities performed by approved EASA Part M & Part 145 organizations, in accordance with EASA Part CAMO.
- Develop and/or coordinate modifications.
- Monitor data from authorities, engines, and aircraft manufacturers.
- Work with the engine and aircraft manufacturers to ensure airworthiness of the engines and aircraft.
- Provide support to production.
- Plan Shop visits, approve work scope for Engines and APUs.
- Monitor and coordinate engines and APUs during shop visit with the MRO and Lessor as applicable.
- Ensure Engines and APUs satisfy Lease return conditions.
- Provide good information flow in the department and the technical organization.
- Receive Engines and APUs into the maintenance system administratively.
- Drive and support the continuous process development within Powerplant.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director Powerplant.
You are our ideal candidate if:
- You hold a Engineering Bachelor of Science degree.
- Experienced in aviation engineering, preferably as a Part CAMO Engineer
- Familiar and experienced with regulations and decision making.
- You are able to independently manage and prioritize large and complex workloads to meet operating timelines.
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Scandinavian language is an advantage.
The job will be for you if you have:
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Good knowledge of aircraft engines or gas turbines.
- Dedicated and motivated to get deeply involved in technical matters.
- Strong analytical capability with excellent MS office suite skills & Maintenance
- Management Systems, preferably AMOS.
- Knowledge of Boeing 737 powerplant, systems, avionics and airframe.
- Strong communication skills and proven problem solving/analytical skills.
