Operations Manager ENRX AS Norway

ENRX Norway is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to strengthen our operations team in Skien. As Operations Manager, you will be part of the Norwegian management team and report directly to the Managing Director. The role holds responsibility for the Production, Test and EHS departments and plays a key role in ensuring efficient, safe and high‑quality operations. We are looking for a driven operations leader with solid industrial experience and strong competence in Lean Management.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Lead, develop, and motivate production managers and teams across sites.
• Ensure production meets planned output, quality, and cost targets.
• Monitor and report key production KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people).
• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Project Management to ensure
  smooth material flow and schedule adherence.
• Optimize production layouts, workflows, and equipment utilization.
• Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance efficiency and traceability.
• Develop competence, training, and succession plans for critical production roles.
• Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement and accountability.

Required competence and experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in production or operations management, ideally
  within multi‑site or complex industrial environments
• Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
• Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams
• Solid understanding of production planning, quality management principles, and
  ERP‑based workflows
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Strong communication abilities in both Norwegian and English, with the capacity to engage
  effectively with employees at all levels
