Procurement Manager - Offshore Wind

As a Procurement Manager within Offshore Wind, you will play a key role in shaping and executing procurement strategies that support Aibel’s growing portfolio of offshore wind projects. You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic procurement approaches that align with both project requirements and organizational objectives, helping to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the business. Working across tendering, FEED, and EPCI phases, you will plan and deliver procurement activities that enable efficient project execution and high value outcomes.
In this role, you will lead and develop project teams by setting a clear direction, coordinating activities, and supporting professional growth through training, coaching, and mentoring. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Construction to ensure that procurement aligns with technical specifications, schedules, and project needs. Your responsibilities will include managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, overseeing sourcing and bidding activities, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will also work in close partnership with Aibel’s Supply Chain Management function to establish strategic frame agreements, allocate resources effectively, and drive improvements in governance, policies, and processes. Ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and contractual obligations will be central to your contribution.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in procurement management, contract negotiations and supplier relations
Experience in procurement for offshore wind or similar renewable energy projects, and experience in procurement for lump sum EPCI projects is an advantage
Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary procurement teams and delivering complex projects

You are efficient and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your leadership style fosters a collaborative working environment, building productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, you excel in solving challenges and driving results. You take a proactive, knowledge sharing approach and are open to seeking input when needed. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential; knowledge of Norwegian is considered a benefit.
