Commercial Project Manager / Project Controller

We are looking for Commercial Project Manager / Project Controller

Job Description:

• Work closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure successful execution and delivery of the assigned work packages and projects.
• Monitor and control revenues, costs and key financial figures. As well handle currency management, guarantees and project insurance.
• Monitor and follow up the sub-supplier costs, also coordinate with procurement to oversee supplier's performance.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual figures against planned forecasts and budgets, identifying and explaining deviations.
• Prepare reports, budgets and forecasts for your project portfolio. Conduct cost and profitability analyses to support decision-making.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks proactively.
• Ensure accurate project administration and data quality across SAP and related business tools.
• Assist project team with contract and commercial management activities, including claim support tasks.
• Ensure timely invoicing and cash flow management, contributing to the financial health of each project.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Controlling, Project Management and other departments to ensure financial accuracy, process alignment and transparency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Experience from international business operations is an advantage
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to navigate complex systems, utilize reporting tools effectively and apply technical expertise
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Project Module is a strong advantage
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office suite
• Excellent overall IT competence
