Join Roxar Downhole as an Offshore Field Service Engineer

We are excited to offer a great opportunity for a motivated Offshore Field Service Engineer to join our team in Roxar Downhole. In this role, you will represent our company on service assignments both offshore and onshore, making you a key ambassador for our technology and values.

While most assignments will take place offshore in the North Sea, you may also be deployed globally when required. As our head office is located in Stavanger, candidates must reside in Rogaland.

Our Field Service Engineers work with cutting‑edge electrical instrumentation that enables customers to optimize production from oil wells. Typical installation tasks include mechanical assembly, electrical and pressure testing, and data communication/logging.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Perform service assignments domestically and internationally

• Provide project and testing support to clients

• Install, commission, repair, and maintain permanent downhole monitoring systems

What You Bring

• Certificate of Apprenticeship and/or Technical College education in Electro, Automation, Instrumentation, or similar fields

• Offshore experience is not required—full training will be provided for the right candidate

• Strong technical understanding

• Solid computer skills

• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualities

• Ability to work independently

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Norwegian language skills are an advantage

• Ambitious, proactive, and collaborative team approach
