We are now looking to hire a new Investment Associate to play a central role in shaping and supporting financial and strategic decisions that drive long-term value creation.
The Investment Associate position is a high-impact role in a capital-intensive business, providing forward-looking insights that inform capital allocation and support financing and strategic decisions. You will work closely with senior leadership and across the organization, facilitating insight that directly influence investment decisions. The role offers significant exposure, responsibility, and room to develop as we continue to grow Bulk.
What you’ll do:As an Investment Associate, your key responsibilities will be:
Financial planning and analysis: Maintain and enhance Bulk’s forecasting tools, including rolling forecasts and business plans, translating analysis into actionable insights.
Capital allocation and investments: Support the full investment lifecycle from initial screening and business case development to decision-making and post-investment performance management.
Financing support: Contribute to equity, bond, and bank financing processes, including modelling, due diligence, and support deal documentation.
Strategic initiatives: Support strategic initiatives such as M&A and operational business cases, working cross-functionally across the organization.
You are a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to problem-solving. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, and are motivated by seeing your work directly influence strategic decisions.
What you bring:Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, investments, or corporate finance.
Master’s degree in finance, economics, a technical discipline, or equivalent.
Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills, with a strong understanding of forecasting and valuation methodologies.
Excellent PowerPoint skills and proficiency with BI and reporting tools.
Strong analytical skills combined with the ability to simplify complexity and drive decisions.
Excellent written and verbal English, Norwegian or another Nordic language is an advantage.
Experience from digital infrastructure or other capital-intensive industries is a plus.
