As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: Commissioning Engineer – Electro/Instrument/Telecom/SAS for an exciting project at Stord.
 
The project operates as Offshore 14/14 Rotation
 
Startup ASAP with short duration

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?

• Development of Commissioning test procedures for own systems.

• Give discipline input to Commissioning test procedures for other systems.

• Participate in development of multi discipline Plant Start-up and Performance test procedures.

• Participate in development of Governing documents and Work Instructions for execution phase.

• Definition of temporary systems, test equipment, special tools, consumables and first fills.

• Evaluate commissioning and operation spares.

• Provide plan and budget input on own activities.

• Participate in Engineering design reviews.

• Participate in Vendor FAT’s and final inspections.

• Prepare Commissioning scope in PCS -Prepare Commissioning work packages.

• Execution of Looptest in accordance with commissioning plans.

• System punch-out and MC handover activities.

• Execute commissioning activities in accordance with commissioning plans and procedures.

• Status activities related to the use of PCS.

• Provide progress reporting regarding own activities.

• Change Control (SWCR, Query, Documents).

• System take-over activities.

• Execute Start-up and Performance Test activities in accordance with procedures.

• Administration and supervision of commissioning assistance and vendor personnel within own group.

 
 
We think you should have:

• Bachelor or Technical degree. Experience may compensate for lack of formal education.

• Must have experience with PIMS, ProCoSys

• Good knowledge of the work processes within the discipline that is being carried out.

• Minimum 5-year experience from Commissioning / Completion processes within New Build / Renewables Segments offshore projects.

• Must have FSE, EX, practical first aid. Will need offshore courses (will be provided)

• Skills in MIPS and MS Office 365.

• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
