Jefferson Wells is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Discipline Lead to join a major offshore wind project. This is a key role where you will lead the electrical discipline from concept to execution, ensuring quality and compliance throughout. Contract period: 27/01/2026 – 28/02/2027
Location: Asker

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical discipline within the project, with full responsibility for resources, planning, deliverables, scope definition, task priorities, and quality.
• Develop electrical philosophies and core deliverables together with the electrical team, including topologies, SLDs, and load lists, in line with company specifications, client requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Verify designs from previous study phases.
• Manage interfaces with other disciplines, suppliers, client, and contractors.
• Organize and lead team meetings, workshops, and design reviews, ensuring timely decisions and clear action items.

Background and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Electrical Lead with involvement in electrical system design and execution.
• Minimum 10 years’ project experience in electrical system design and execution.
• Offshore wind project experience is preferred.
• Experience from early-phase/conceptual electrical system design is an advantage.
• Valid FSE course.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Cooperative attitude and ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Systematic and accurate, with strong commitment to deadlines and quality.
• Proactive, sharing knowledge and seeking advice when needed.
