As a Senior UX Designer at Horizon56, you will help define the future by designing user-centric experiences that simplify complexity and drive adoption across global operations. In this role, you'll design interfaces to enhance usability and streamline workflows for our customers.

You will collaborate most closely with fellow designers, but also be closely connected to product managers, subject matter experts and developers. We also provide our designers with ample opportunities to interact with our customers and users as we believe this is the foundation to building great products and services.

Job Role Responsibilities

·       Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate design ideas effectively.

·       Create detailed documentation for handover of design for development.

·       Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gain deep insight into user behaviours and needs.

·       Collaborate closely with customers, users, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements.

·       Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members to continuously improve product usability.

·       Participate in regular design reviews, collaborative brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional workshops to foster a creative and engaging work environment.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

·       A minimum of 4+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio to showcase your work.

·       Proficiency in Figma.

·       Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.

·       Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and creating design specifications for development teams.

·       Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and translate insights into design improvements

·       Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts, rationale, and decision-making to stakeholders.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.

·       Be a great team member.

Working Location

This role will be based in our Stavanger office, working from facilities provided by Horizon56.
