Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for qualified tax professional to join NAVTOR as we continue to develop our in-house tax capability, evolving from a fully outsourced model into a dynamic internal advisory and compliance function. The Group Tax Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of the tax function, helping to ensure compliance at Group level & across locations, deliver on NAVTOR’s transformation roadmap. The successful candidate will report to the Global Finance Director and will take ownership of a portfolio of tax initiatives with international exposure in a high-growth environment.

Core Accountabilities
Responsible for all legal entities’ tax compliance and reporting, ensure alignment with evolving regulations
Serve as a point of contact for all entities’ direct tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing matters
Oversee and manage outsourced tax service providers
Researching tax issues, working with third-party advisors as necessary
Monitor changes in local tax laws, assess the impact on the business
Reviewing financial data to ensure compliance with tax regulations
Drive process improvements/ automations across tax operations
Contribute to global projects such as legal entity restructuring, M&A transactions, due diligence
Develop tax policies & controls
Manage tax audits, as and when they arise
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or related field
Master’s in Taxation highly preferred
Skills & Experience - Essential
6-8 years of experience in a tax function
Strong technical knowledge of direct, indirect, international tax & transfer pricing
Tax accounting experience
Skilled at managing external advisors
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Experience with ERP systems and process improvements
Proven ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural teams and functions
Ability to build strong relationships with local finance teams & advisors
Strong time management skills and ability to perform under pressure
