Job description
As a Business Controller, you will play a central role in turning data into insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational performance. You will work close to the business, ensuring high-quality financial and operational reporting while continuously improving processes, systems and ways of working in a fast-growing environment.
The role spans core financial responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting and audits, as well as involvement in strategic initiatives including potential M&A activities, where you will contribute with financial analysis, scenario modeling and integration support.
In parallel, you will act as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on data preparation, modeling and analysis to enable scalable, reliable and decision-ready reporting. You will collaborate closely with the BI team, transforming complex data into actionable insights using Power BI on top of a modern Snowflake data warehouse.
You will contribute to the development and quality assurance of data models, measures and KPIs, ensuring alignment between financial results and operational performance. This role requires a strong understanding of data structures, business logic and performance drivers, and the ability to bridge finance, technology and decision-making.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare and quality-assure monthly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
- Play a central role in the annual budgeting process, including preparation, coordination, and validation of budget assumptions
- Act as a key contributor in the audit process by providing analyses, documentation of performance metrics, and supporting auditors with insights into business drivers
- Analyze and validate KPIs to ensure accurate performance tracking
- Monitor and assess operational and investment costs
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide financial support across departments
- Collaborate closely with management and operational teams to deliver actionable insights
- Prepare, validate and analyze data for reporting and decision support using Power BI and Snowflake
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial and business data models
- Ensure high data quality and consistency across reports, dashboards and source systems
Success factors
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (audit, controlling, financial analysis)
- Master's degree in finance or related field
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent English proficiency (Group language); Nordic language skills are an advantage
- Proficiency with PowerBI; experience with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and influence decision-making in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, DBT) and semantic models is an advantage
