Platform Enablement Manager
The Subscription Product & Technology unit seeks to empower Schibsted’s news brands with state-of-the-art subscription capabilities through our subscription platform User Revenue Suite (URS). To strengthen our operational excellence and help our teams work smarter across the platform, we are now looking for a Platform Enablement Manager. This role sits at the heart of Subscription Product & Technology and ensures that our organisation gets the most out of URS — from project execution and processes to communication and platform transparency. You will report to Product Director Subscription, and you will work closely with both product, tech and business teams.
Main Responsibilities:
Cross-team project leadership: Lead and coordinate initiatives that span across multiple product teams and domains.
Platform oversight & expertise: Maintain a high-level overview of the URS platform. Act as an advisor to teams and stakeholders, helping them understand how to leverage URS effectively.
Platform metrics & performance: Monitor and communicate key metrics and performance indicators related to URS, gaining clarity on how the platform is performing and where opportunities lie.
Superuser of JIRA: Serve as a go-to expert for JIRA within the Subscription Product & Technology organisation and support team best practices.
Prioritisation & process facilitation: Help drive our prioritization processes and ensure follow-up routines to secure progress and maintain momentum.
Communication & storytelling: Improve how we communicate what URS is, what it enables, and how to use it well.
Who You Are
You’re a structured, proactive communicator who thrives on clarity and coordination. You enjoy making complex systems understandable and helping teams work better together. You bring a mix of operational strength, platform curiosity, and an ability to connect the dots across people and processes.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Experience with platform products, subscription services, or technical delivery teams
- Experience with project management in a large organization or across teams
- Solid knowledge about how a subscription business works
- Strong understanding of agile workflows and tools (especially JIRA)
- A talent for simplifying complexity and communicating clearly
- A collaborative mindset and an interest in platform-level thinking
Joining our Subscription Product & Technology team, you will get to:
- Work with core products that drive user revenue for all Schibsted’s brands
- Collaborate with a highly skilled, diverse set of product, tech, and business teams
- Influence how URS is developed, used and understood across the organisation
- Shape the operational foundation of a platform used by millions of users
- Be part of a mission-driven media group focused on quality journalism and sustainable business models
