Helly Hansen is looking for a Finance Analyst, Supply Chain

Based in Oslo, Norway, the Supply Chain Finance Analyst will support the financial planning, analysis, and performance management of Helly Hansen’s global supply chain operations. This role is critical in providing data-driven insights, supporting cost visibility, and enabling operational efficiency in alignment with Kontoor’s corporate standards. The Analyst will report directly to the Supply Chain Finance Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (supply chain, finance, operations, customs, etc.) to drive profitability and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Assist in monthly forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes for supply chain activities.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain financial data to identify trends, variances, and key cost drivers.
• Support the development of the annual operating plan and long-range strategic plans for supply chain finance.
• Prepare and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making.

Cost Visibility & Optimization

• Develop and maintain detailed cost tracking tools and dashboards under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
• Monitor and update standard costs for materials, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies across sourcing, logistics, and procurement.
• Assist in margin analysis and support initiatives to enhance business profitability.

Performance Monitoring & Metrics

• Track and report on key supply chain financial metrics and KPIs.
• Analyze performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for supply chain and finance leadership, providing actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with operations, sourcing, and logistics teams to align financial analysis with business strategies.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting and planning.
• Support supply chain leadership with timely and accurate financial analysis.

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting systems and processes.
• Support audit and compliance activities as required.

  execution of initiatives.
• Exhibit Ownership: Take responsibility for assigned financial outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and adapt to changing
  business needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  required.
• 2+ years of experience in finance, supply chain, or manufacturing finance, with exposure to financial planning and analysis
  (FP&A) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency financial modeling, scenario analysis and data analysis tools (e.g.,
  Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
• Experience developing dashboards and performance reports to monitor and drive business performance.
• Ability to automate and streamline financial reporting processes.
• Proficiency in business case development and ROI evaluation.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development; certifications such as APICS CSCP or CPIM are a plus
