Senior Marine Structural Engineer (Offshore Wind)

Job Description

 

• Follow up the contractor topside and jacket structural design and T&I
• Follow up the contractors' automation structural design for topside and jacket.
• Follow up contractors T&I scope and contract towards marine warranty surveyor.
• Secure a robust design
• Secure schedule

Qualification Requirements
 

• Minimum bachelor's degree in structural or marine disciplines
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years' experience with substation projects
• Experience with marine operations, including load outs, heavy transport, and heavy lift activities
• Willingness to travel to client and contractor offices, as well as offshore sites during construction when required
• Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to oversee and guide contractors
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple project packages
• Proactive problem solver and team player, with a strong focus on delivering high quality outcomes

Start date: as soon as possible
Duration: 12 months with options for extensions
Work location: Stavanger or Oslo or Haugesund
