Bus Driver for an activity centre

This is an exciting possibility for any competent bus driver that loves sport and nature, but you need an EU driving license for bus and certificate of professional competence (driver cpc). This means license D-95.

The Driver Team is involved in all aspects of transporting our guests to and from our base, all logistics during the activities we run, and taking photos during rafting trips! 

• Applicants must be EU citizens with a D license and Professional driver certificate. (code 95/CPC)

• Applicants with a valid Norwegian "Kjøreseddel" will be prioritized

• Experience in driving 40+ seater busses with passengers

• Experience with minibuses and trailers.

• Experience driving on small mountain roads.

• Good English language and communication skills.

• Need to be fit and sporty!

• Season work June -October on agreement.

Voss Active has a position available as a seasonal bus driver. The main task is to drive our rafting guests from the base to the rivers. We will offer exciting days at work in a sporty, dynamic and professional team, and to train you in a lot of different tasks.

This is more than just bus driving from A to B! The job includes a varity of different working tasks in addition to transporting gear, staff and guests by bus and minibus. Safety and rescue work, photographing, serving refreshments, service and helping our guests. Working as a team member together with other drivers and rafting guides, making sure our guests are well taken care of. We will train you, but you must be willing to learn!

A typical day at work starts with preparing and packing refreshments and other gear for the trip. Pack trailer with rafts or other equipment. Helping our guests with life jackets and helmets and driving all staff and participants to river. Taking pictures and setting up safety so you can help swimmers to shore and assist the rafting guides in case of emergency. Clearing up gear after trip and bring guests to their final destination. We can run two trips like this after each other, working from about 09.00-19.00.

5 days work and 2 days off per week.

We can also offer other tasks in addition depending on qualification.

Wage is in average about NOK 50.000/month. We can offer to rent a room in a staff house for about NOK 4000/month including electricity and internet.
